This is home.
I was raised in northern Mexico. In the banks of the Rio Grande and the land of La Llorona.
This is literature.
I grew up reading tales of Bandidos fighting Vaqueros and listening to stories of Narcos killing Cholos.
This is life.
Growing up in the border you quickly learn that life consists of stories you hear, events you witness and scenes you imagine.
This is reality.
My life has been mostly imagined as 5" video loops, 30" audio bites and 60" of tears, laughter and music.
This is idealism.
A costly education in the Arts, and a life in the Theatre that amounted to a brief career in the Latin American theatre scene +NYC, (which although may sound exotic, is just hot, sticky and sweaty), continues to be the essence of me.
This is experience.
I finally found consolation and money for tacos by writing heart-breaking, tear-jerking dialogue for Mexican Novelas. A short-lived job as a Televisa writer led me to discover that what -up until that day- was just a useless skill for writing 1 minute plays, could become a passion for writing 60 second radios.
This is work.
Here you will find some of my creative, my copy, experience and other interesting projects.
This is opportunity.
If you like what you see, call me, email me, text me or send me a message via telepathy. We can meet and I can share with you some case studies and some incredible stories about my imaginary life as a Mexican Narco-Corrido Star.
This is me
This is the real me. A Creative Director, fully bilingual, passionate copywriter, relentless about idea creation who works her ass off and loves what she does.
This is an idea.
This is how my children see me.
